What affects the price
When estimating a gas fireplace project, several variables shift the final number. The type of unit—whether you choose a direct vent, vent-free, or an insert—plays a big role. You also have to account for the labor required to run new gas lines or update venting through your walls and roof. Customizing the surround, including stone, tile, or a new mantel, adds to the material costs. If you are converting an existing wood-burning fireplace, the complexity of the chimney liner installation will impact the total. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
About this service
An outdoor gas fireplace is a permanent installation designed to extend your living space into the patio or backyard. You need one if you want a reliable heat source for evening gatherings without the cleanup associated with wood fires. These units can be built into masonry structures or purchased as pre-fabricated pieces. Because they are exposed to the elements, they require weather-resistant components and proper gas line installation to ensure they remain safe and functional year-round.
Summer is the smartest time to plan a new fireplace installation or replacement. Because contractors are not dealing with the winter rush, you often have more flexibility with scheduling appointments. It is the perfect opportunity to renovate your fireplace surround or upgrade to a more efficient model while you aren't reliant on it for daily heat.
